We are very honored and proud that Susanne and John Stephenson have work in the show "Clay as Soft Power". The exhibition examines the transformation of the postwar relationship between America and Japan through ceramics. With this show, we are inspired anew by John and Susanne's role in the global ceramics community, as well as the rich role art and culture play in worldwide politics.

Be sure to make it out to U of M Museum of Art to see these and more gorgeous work in person and enjoy this incredible show, spanning from ancient Shigaraki pots to contemporary ceramic works inspired by ancient Japanese forms and processes.
